Description

As an Interim Accounts Payable Clerk Bath, you will help keep supplier invoices and payments moving through the accounting process during a temporary assignment. You will manage day-to-day accounts payable tasks accurately, helping the finance team maintain clear and timely records.

This is a 3 month role, which could go permanent.

Description

Process supplier invoices accurately and ensure they are recorded in the correct accounting period.

Check invoice details against available records to help maintain accurate payment information.

Maintain accounts payable records so finance information is clear and up to date.

Prepare payment information for review, helping invoices move through the agreed process.

Respond to supplier invoice queries and provide clear updates where information is available.

Identify missing or unclear invoice details and follow up to support timely processing.

Keep organised documentation to support the day-to-day running of the Accounting & Finance department.Profile

A successful 'Interim Accounts Payable' should have:

Practical experience of processing supplier invoices.

Good understanding of accounts payable records and payment processes.

Ability to check financial information carefully and maintain accurate data.

Experience handling invoice queries in a clear and timely way.

Confidence managing routine accounting tasks during a temporary assignment.Job Offer

Temporary Accounts Payable assignment in Bath.

Hourly pay of £13 to £16, dependent on the level of experience.
