Description
Job Title: Google Workspace Administrator (SC Cleared)
Role Type: Contract
Contract Length: 12 months
Location: Remote (Occasional travel to London)
Our client is looking for an experienced Google Workspace Administrator to act as the primary escalation point for their service desk and serve as the key liaison with Google and their Google Partner. You will ensure our Google Workspace environment is securely configured, continually updated, well maintained, and aligned with best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert support, troubleshooting, and escalation for Google Workspace issues.
Maintain strong relationships with users, Google, and third party partners.
Manage and triage incoming tickets and support in flight Google related projects.
Lead and support change initiatives with a focus on technology impacts.
Stay current with Google Workspace and Google Cloud updates.
Support data and email migrations into and out of Google Workspace.
Work closely with Security, FOI, SAR, Digital Records Management, and Cyber Security teams.
Create documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles.
Essential Experience:
Valid SC Clearance.
3rd line support background in a fast paced IT environment.
Experience delivering complex technical projects end to end.
Strong knowledge of messaging protocols, email security, and SaaS platforms (Google & O365).
Hands on experience with GAM commands, DNS zone management, and large Google Workspace domains.
Familiarity with security standards such as DKIM, SPF, DMARC, MTA‑STS. xjnqpsq
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and VIPs.
