CRM Data Migration Specialist

Location: Cardiff

Contract: Part-time, 2 days per week

Duration: Initially a few months, with potential for longer-term work

Day Rate: To be discussed

Working Hours: 7 hours per day, - 2 days per week, Monday–Friday

About the Role

Rhino Recruitment is working on behalf of a Cardiff-based client to recruit an experienced Blackbaud Data & BI Specialist on a part-time contract basis.

The successful candidate will support the client with the management, extraction, cleansing and presentation of data within Blackbaud, while also helping to improve existing processes and develop new reporting capabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced data professional with strong Blackbaud knowledge who can make an immediate impact and help develop the organisation's data and reporting capability.

Key Responsibilities

* Use import packages and Blackbaud functionality to pull and manage data within the system.

* Extract data from Blackbaud to support communications, reporting and targeted searches.

* Search and analyse data across multiple tables and against defined criteria.

* Undertake data cleansing and maintenance, particularly around codes and constituent activity.

* Develop and maintain dashboards covering finance and fundraising requirements.

* Review existing data processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and functionality.

* Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.

* Improve and develop data-pull processes to ensure information is accurate, accessible and fit for purpose.

* Where appropriate, use Power BI to create effective visualisations and dashboards using Blackbaud data.

* Provide general expertise and guidance on the effective use of Blackbaud data.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

* Strong, demonstrable experience working with Blackbaud and its data structures.

* Experience extracting, manipulating and cleansing data.

* A good understanding of databases, tables, data fields and search criteria.

* Experience developing dashboards and management information, ideally across finance and/or fundraising.

* Experience improving existing data processes and identifying efficiencies.

* Power BI experience would be highly desirable.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* The ability to work independently and make practical recommendations.

* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to data quality.

* The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Working Arrangement

The role is offered on a 2-day-per-week basis, Monday to Friday, with 7 hours worked per day.

The client operates between 7am and 9pm, with 11am–3pm as core hours, providing flexibility around the remaining working hours. xjnqpsq
