Location: Onsite Edinburgh, Scotland

Duration: One year contract (Possibility of extension or conversion)

Contract Type: Umbrella contract- Inside IR35

Pay: £25-28 per hour

Job Description:

Our OpsTech Design Execution Team is seeking an experienced BIM Technician with a focus on Telecoms Design. The successful candidate will join our global team, working on AutoCAD and Revit-based design for IT networking infrastructure projects. With a keen eye for detail, you will be responsible for executing design projects, updating standard details in 2D and 3D, and collaborating with the Project Management team to establish BIM requirements and standards. While not essential, a background in IT infrastructure systems, including structured cabling, is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with BIM360, Revit, and Autodesk tooling, with a proven ability to work in both 2D and 3D environments. Familiarity with blocks, elements, families, and template creation is crucial. xjnqpsq Your agility and effective multi-tasking skills will be put to use as you manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years operating experience in CAD with ability to work and manage layers

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Drafting and Design

• Minimum of 1 year experience drawing in a warehouse or fulfillment centre environment

• Basic knowledge of IT systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Conveyor design and layout experience

• IT or Electrical Engineering degree
