Description

About the Cityscape Recruitment

We work with construction professionals considering their next career move — helping them make informed decisions now and for the entirety of their career. Over 16 years, we’ve built a solid foundation in our sector and earned one of the most credible reputations in the industry. We know our market, speak our clients’ language, and do things the right way.

Some consultancies rely on volume or short-term thinking; you won’t find that here. We set high standards, act with transparency, and reward those who deliver.

Cityscape is fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and full of ambition. We love seeing people develop — whether that’s a consultant progressing through the ranks or someone carving out a new path entirely. As part of a wider network of companies (including teams in the UK, US, and Ireland), there’s real opportunity for your work to have a broad impact.

About the Role

This is a brand-new position for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and recruitment. You’ll explore, test, and introduce tools that improve the productivity of our consultants and make them more efficient — from AI chatbots and sourcing tools to system integrations and custom-built solutions.

You’ll play a key role in shaping how technology supports our consultants day to day, taking ideas from trial to implementation, and ensuring new systems deliver real results. Once tools are embedded, you’ll use them to support candidate sourcing, business development, and general recruitment activity — managing their implementation and roll-out, ensuring team adoption through training and by demonstrating their value in practice before handing them over.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Researching and evaluating new technologies that could drive efficiency and performance

* Introducing, testing, and integrating tools into our current tech stack (including JobAdder)

* Managing implementation and roll-out, including user adoption and training

* Acting as our in-house “AI-led recruiter,” using new tools to source candidates and generate leads

* Supporting the Operations Director in shaping our overall technology strategy

* Helping to manage change, ensuring new processes are adopted effectively and sustainably

Rewards and Benefits

* Salary: Around £40,000, depending on experience

* Incentives: Earn 2.5% commission from the first 5 placements or roles generated via each new tool developed

* Holidays: 22 days + statutory

* Team events and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

* Scope to shape the role around your skills and interests as it evolves

Requirements

We’re looking for someone with a strong technical mindset and a practical, hands-on approach. You’ll be curious about technology, passionate about how AI can enhance recruitment, and comfortable working closely with non-technical teams.

Experience and skills:

* Proven experience implementing or managing technology tools or systems (AI, automation, or integrations)

* Understanding of change management and user adoption

* Confidence in testing, refining, and applying tools in a live environment

* Comfortable engaging in some recruitment-related activity using the technology you introduce

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Personal attributes:

* Balanced and adaptable — able to manage multiple demands in a busy, sales-driven environment

* Resilient and confident enough to hold ground when needed

* Supportive and patient when introducing change

* Proactive, resourceful, and keen to make a real impact
