Description
Our client, a leading business in the IT sector is seeking a strong 1st Line Engineer to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.
Due to an exciting period of growth our client is looking to add a 1st Line Engineer to their team, working closely with the existing Help Desk to support a broad range of clients with their technical faults and issues.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in an IT support role where you are used to working with users of all levels, providing a high level of technical and customer service at all times.
Due to the requirements of the role candidates will be required to drive and have access to their own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide a high level of technical support to a broad range of clients
* Act as the first point of contact on the help desk for clients
* Carry out installation tasks including setting up PCs, routers, printers and AV equipment
* Work towards both individual and team KPIs
* Escalate service requests to senior engineers where necessary
Key Experience:
* Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a technical support role
* Understanding of basic network fundamentals, including LAN, DNS and DHCP
* Active Directory / Azure / Office365 experience
* Experienced providing a high level of customer service to clients
* Keen and genuine enthusiasm for IT outside of work
