School Caretaker

Description

Adecco are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued educational clients in the Hindley Green area for a School Caretaker to join their team on an ongoing basis.

Start Date: 1st September

Job Type: Temporary on-going

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: Split shift so must live local (6:30am-9:30am & 3:30pm-6:30pm)

Hourly Rate: 12.1ph- 13.50ph

Key Responsibilities

Opening and securing the school premisesCarrying out routine health and safety checksGeneral maintenance and minor repairsEnsuring school grounds are clean, tidy, and safeSetting up rooms and facilities as requiredReporting maintenance issues and hazardsSupporting site security and safeguarding proceduresCleaning duties

Requirements

Previous caretaking, facilities, maintenance, experience is desirableGood practical maintenance skillsReliable, trustworthy, and able to work independentlyA valid Enhanced DBS certificate is required, or a willingness to obtain one before startingStrong awareness of health and safety procedures
