Housekeeper/Domestic Cleaning

Description

Ashberry recruitment are looking for a Housekeeper / Domestic Cleaner to join an an extra care housing scheme that provides independent living apartments and on-site personal care services for older adults.

PLEASE NOTE- No support/care services are required for this role.

This is a hands-on role focused on keeping the service clean, safe and well maintained for residents.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning communal areas and shared spaces

*

Mopping and vacuuming floors

*

Dusting and wiping down surfaces

*

Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and other areas of the service

*

Emptying bins and taking rubbish to the appropriate areas

*

Keeping cleaning equipment and supplies organised

*

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

*

Reporting any maintenance, cleaning or health and safety issues

*

Supporting the overall upkeep and presentation of the service

*

Following relevant cleaning, hygiene and health & safety procedures

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Reliable and hardworking

*

Friendly and respectful towards elderly residents

*

Able to work independently and manage their workload

*

Comfortable xjnqpsq carrying out regular cleaning and domestic duties

*

Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable, but not essential

DBS Requirement

Candidates must have an Enhanced Adults DBS to work within the service.
