The Opportunity

Global Highland are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic bartender to for our client a luxury hotel in the Dingwall area. This is the ideal opportunity for a bartender with an excellent knowledge of whisky who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service, preparing and serving drinks efficiently, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non–alcoholic beverages to a high standard. Good knowledge of cocktails Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service. Take drink orders accurately and process payments using the till/POS system. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, equipment, and workstations. Restock beverages, garnishes, and bar supplies as required. Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management. Verify customers' age and ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with licensing laws. Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and food safety regulations. Be able to talk to guests about the various whiskies available behind the bar Requirements

Previous experience working in a bar, pub, restaurant, or hospitality venue. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure. Good knowledge of whisky, beers, wines, spirits, cocktails, and bar service techniques. Strong teamwork and organisational skills. Reliable, punctual, and flexible, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Experience using electronic till or POS systems is desirable. Knowledge of licensing regulations and responsible alcohol service. Due to the location of this role candidates would be required to have access to own transport due to location. Whats on Offer
