Assistant Cook

Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Cook to join their kitchen team for approximately 20-30 hours per week (to include some evenings and weekends) on a temp to perm basis. The right person needs to be motivated, reliable and have a 'can-do' attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Support kitchen operations, including breakfast, lunch, and events Provide cover for the Head Chef during pre-booked annual leave and other planned periods of absence, ensuring continuity and high standards across the kitchen Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety Follow all health and safety and food hygiene regulations What We're Looking For:

Previous cooking experience in a professional kitchen environment is essential Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and events Relevant food hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain) Have a can-do attitude with a friendly and approachable personality Will require own transportation due to remote location Interested?
