Up for sale is my Honda VFR800 project. The bike starts, runs and rides exactly as it should. Other than the rear brake. Engine is solid, smooth and pulls strong through the rev range. These bikes are well known for bulletproof reliability and this one is no exception.

It’s fitted with a brand new Delkevic exhaust which sounds absolutely unreal. Proper deep V4 growl. It also comes with the original standard exhaust.

MOT failure was for:
• Front brake binding (which I genuinely don’t understand as it definitely isn’t binding when riding)
• Rear brake less than 25% efficiency

Work iv done
Second hand but good condition new calipers front and rear.
New dark tint screen
New tinted front indicators
New Honda coolant( 2 bottles to come with the bike)
New exhaust ( still have original)

Rear could simply need the system bleeding, but I’m not confident tackling it because of Honda’s linked dual braking system. I’d rather be honest and let someone mechanically minded sort it properly.

Tyres have good tread.
Bike is clean and straight.
All electrics working.

Could be a simple fix and you’re getting a big, solid, dependable VFR for project money.

If you know these bikes, you’ll know what a good one is worth once sorted.
