Honda VFR 800 1998 (5th Gen) Location Gillingham Dorset

Cam driven V4 engine,
Lovely bike, owned for about 3 years and have changed the oil every year. Recently changed coolant and spark plugs for the summer,

Upgraded to 16t front and 44 rear sprocket last year with a new chain for more low down acceleration, you won’t notice any loss on the top end as the gears cover such a large range. Really quick bike.

Vehicle history shows a previous cat s insurance claim, this was due to previous damaged plastics which have been repaired or replaced, I have taken the front end off and reinforced the repairs with fiberglass, side panels are ok.

Bodywork is fine, not perfect but looks good. Please refer to the photos for details or arrange a viewing.

Starts perfectly every time, as it’s a Honda, had a new battery last year.

Not sure if it makes a difference, but this has only been run on premium fuel

Bike has full years mot, expires 20.05.2027.
1 advisory, rear tire close to limit.

Front tire is new, both Michelin power pilot 2ct handle well.

Reason for selling is I am looking for something a bit lighter and shorter, possibly 600 or 400cc naked bike or off-road . Love the VFR, but it’s a heavy bike and I struggle to get it into my parking space, sadly not getting to use it as much as I would like.
