The 2019 CRF250R is a seriously capable 250cc four-stroke motocross bike and a big improvement over the 2018 model. Honda concentrated on adding more low-end torque while retaining the strong mid-to-top-end performance.

The real strength is the chassis. It’s light, extremely nimble and turns beautifully, with excellent suspension that manages to be plush over smaller bumps while still resisting bottoming. The 2019 engine is easier to ride than the 2018 because you don’t need to abuse the clutch as much coming out of slower corners.

A fantastic modern 250F — light, sharp, electric start, excellent suspension and a very good engine. For someone wanting a proper MX bike for track/racing use, the 2019 CRF250R is a very strong choice.
