1962 Honda CB92 Lovingly restored

We are delighted to be able to present this lovingly restored classic 1962 Honda CB92 Benly.
The CB92 parallel twin was released in 1959 and was ground breaking both for motorcycling and for Honda. This particular machine has had thousands spent on original parts and many hours of work to bring it back to the lovely condition you see it in now.
Here is a breakdown of some of the work done:
Frame: any rust was cut out and repaired. All new chrome except the kick starter. All new paint. Wheels rebuilt with double butted stainless spokes at the front and single butted stainless spokes at the rear.
New tyres, tubes and bands. New chain. Shocks rebuilt with new seals and oil. New cables and levers. New loom and headlight. All electrics tested. Lots of other genuine NOS parts.
Engine: New crank. Rebore and new, original pistons, rings etc. Head overhauled. New rockers and seals. New 3rd gear. Cutch rings replaced. New gaskets. New neutral switch unit. Genuine toolkit. Hand pump and lock.
Race kit items (genuine Honda). Tachometer, cable and drive gear. Seat re-covered. Short megas (repro with dB killer).
Please note, we envisage this bike going to a collection. If it is to be put on the road it will need commissioning – tappets setting, timing setting, oil, grease and grease points etc. If UK registration is required, a dating certificate would be needed. We can provide the details of the organisation that can supply this. Also note, we don’t know the original mileage but the engine had undergone a high level of restoration with new bearings, seals, rubbers etc.
