Large Vintage Scratch Built Model Pond Yacht Motor Boat Cruiser on Stand
circa late 1960's mid 1970's.
Approx Size : 47.5" ( Length )
We are delighted to offer this fabulous loft find . . . A vintage scratch built model of a motor boat cruiser on stand. English in origin & hand made from scratch. Quite large in size measuring an impressive 00" in length. Mid blue painted hull, wooden top deck, white top cabin. Original internal electric motor with brass prop shaft & red plastic propeller. The cabin section lift off to reveal inner motor & hull battery compartments.
This model comes directly from a recent estate sale & is sold in lovely loft found vintage condition. It in good general order but is in need of some light repairs. It’s mainly in need of a tiller & new batteries. The tiller arm is present & battery connection leads are there. All very do able & would make for a very cool display or usable model when complete.
Would be a great project for the model boat enthusiast & is a superb base to make your own or just use as a very cool room display piece. It comes with a wooden stand which is great to use when stored or displayed.
Overall a very cool by-gone era model which I believe would date nicely to around circa late 1969's to mid 1970's.
