Vintage emblem for the 67th Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron (ARRS).
The squadron's motto, "That Others May Live," is visible on the patch.
I have taken all info from Google as I had no clue about the patch and it was found amongst items of my late fathers ( who had nothing to do with military etc )
The 67th ARRS was a United States Air Force unit that conducted rescue and recovery operations, including spacecraft recovery in the Atlantic.
The squadron was active from 1952 until 1988, with a brief inactivation period from 1960 to 1961.
The unit was stationed at various locations, including RAF Sculthorpe, England; Prestwick Airport, Scotland; Morón Air Base, Spain; and RAF Woodbridge, England.
The 67th ARRS was later redesignated as the 67th Special Operations Squadron
