COLLECTABLE: Featured on the cover is actor ROBERT DONAT as WILLIAM FRIESE-GREENE in the movie ‘The Magic Box’, about the film pioneer and cinematographer, who, as the inside article says, HE GAVE MOVIES TO THE WORLD. (More famously, Robert Donat starred in Alfred Hitchcock’s classic 1935 production of THE 39 STEPS.) See photos for condition of magazine, which contains other interesting articles, including one on the Mechanical Brain (the computer) and another on William Hodges, the painter who sailed with Captain Cook, as well as vintage advertising.
