Description
This is a collection of rare vintage Bordallo Pinheiro ceramics featuring a lemon leaf design. The collection includes the following items:
2 plates - diameter 23.5cm
2 plates - diameter 17cm
4 bowls - diameter 13.5cm
Each item has a printed backstamp displaying authenticity.
Bordallo Pinheiro began producing ceramics in 1884 at a faiança factory in Caldas da Rainha, a city near Lisbon. His work was known for its high technical quality, especially in modeling and glazing. His designs were rooted in Portuguese culture, culinary heritage and natural environment. The Bordallo Pinheiro brand is known for its whimsical, colorful and eccentric creations.
All items are in immaculate condition, unused, with no chips or cracks. From a smoke and pet free home.
