Description
Extremely rare 1970 CARLSBERG DRAUGHT EXPORT HOF 240v Lamp circa 1968- 1970 (see photo 9 100logos dated pre 1970) . This eye catching lamp (25cm H x 18cm W x 15cm D) was designed to sit on a shelf in a bar to promote CARLSBERG DRAUGHT at a time when lager was eroding sales of traditional beers. This attractive display piece featuring the iconic little mermaid of Copenhagen made of fine porcelain sits on a 1 inch+ of solid teak base against a purple background and is encased in pure copper housing. This attention to detail and use of contemporary colours/materials was intended to appeal to younger, trendy drinkers. A beautiful piece of breweriana refurbished and rewired with new heat resistant light fitting, flex, bulb and plug and fully earthed to modern standards. In full working order and excellent condition for its age £100 o.n.o.
