I am selling this Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Centenary Five Pound Crown that I have had for some time, which is in excellent condition.

These attractive Crowns are always in demand with coin collectors.
Made to celebrate the 100th birthday of The Queen mother, these coins were made by the UK's Royal Mint as an official souvenir, making them a key addition to any royal memorabilia collection.

Born in 1900, Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon married the future King George VI in 1923. She was Queen of the United Kingdom from his accession in 1936 until her daughter, Elizabeth II, acceded to the throne following the death of her father in 1952.

In her widowhood, the elder Queen Elizabeth was known as the ‘Queen Mother’ of ‘Queen Mum’ and remained consistently popular as the matriarch of the British royal family. This Crown coin is one of several celebrating her lifetime of service and features a one-off portrait by sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley with cheering crowds celebrating the eras of her long life. This is paired with a bust by the same artist of her daughter, Her Majesty the Queen on the front of the coin.

This coin is in great condition and was minted in 2000 by the Royal Mint to celebrate the 100th birthday of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. The coin was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
