Description
An original WW2 British Army Officers canvas sleeping bag/ valise and large canvas holdall. The sleeping bag in khaki canvas with compartment for a pillow, navy blue wool base lining and securing cords with brass eyes. Approx 6ft long and maker stamped with WD arrow 'T.F.F.S 1944'. Together with a large Officers canvas holdall bag with two large handles and web securing straps, maker stamped 'W & G 1945' with WD arrow. Holdall measures approx 3ft long.
Both items are in VGC with all intact strong stitching, has some minor storage stains and a couple of barely noticeable moth nips to the blue wool sleeping bag lining. Both items came from the same Officer's family about 30 years ago! Please message or text any questions. Thanks for looking!
