Description
Irish war of independence medal original. Very Good condition with comrac bar 'combat'
Very rare medal. Only 15,000 of these were issued compared to to 42,000 issued without comrac bar. Medal was awarded for active service in the Irish Republican Army to soliders who had participated in combat against the occupying 'black and tan' Brittish forces from 1917 onwards. £500
