Description
Clarice Cliff designed Collector Plate by Royal Staffordshire Ceramics, Burslem, England, in the Confederation series. This plate shows "The Mountie" , an RCMP mounted officer. Clarice Cliff is a sought-after ceramics designer who is widely considered as revolutionizing her industry. The plate is transfer printed with elements of hand painting
Plate is in very good condition. Some marks on the back which appear to be from the firing, shown in photos. One or two very minor scratches on surface but not at all obvious and did not photograph. 27cm diameter.
Collection from Longworth OX13 and all proceeds to village church white elephant fundraiser.
