Build Your Own Radio Control BMW M3 GTR by Hachette, FULL SET -1 PLEASE READ

Here I have the almost FULL SET of the Build Your Own Radio Control BMW M3 GTR, released by Hachette a around 20 - 25 years ago. I say ‘almost’ for 2 reasons:


1. The original collection was intended to be complete in 95 issues - which it WAS. However, Hachette decided to extend the collection by 14 issues to take it to 109 issues, but these additional 14 issues were classed as upgrades, and therefore NOT essential to the original build. Given that I hadn’t even started to build it when this was announced, I didn’t bother with the additional 14 issues.


2. Included are issues 1 through to 95 - EXCEPT Issue 22, which it turns out Ive never had but never realised until recently when I’ve come to sell it. HOWEVER - through doing some research, it appears as though issue 22 only came with a clear body shell - which isn’t really needed, considering Issue 95 came with the orange body shell. Whether there were other parts in with issue 22 or not I cannot personally be certain, however it appears unlikely.


All of the issues I have here are still sealed, however one or two may have split / come open during storage, but ALL PARTS are there. Some magazines / issues may have folds, creases etc also from storage. Originally cost £6 per issue ( with the obvious exception of issues 1 and 2, which always come out cheaper to suck you in! ), so has an original RRP of over £550. Also included is a brand new binder ( also sealed ).

Only selling because I have too many collections, both built and unbuilt, and I am getting desperate to have some space back.

A limited number of individual issues are available on eBay and online, and it seems the going rate is between £7 - £12 per issue, giving this an approximate value of anywhere between £650 - £1100. I’ve based my price on that, but am also open to offers - however I’m not giving it away for ridiculous offers. I’d sooner build it!
