Description
This stunning doll was released in 2003 though due to high demand at the time I didn't receive it till nearly one year later in 2004!
She stands approx 19 Inch's tall, all porcelain apart from the top half of her legs. A very slimline Indian doll, very beautifully detailed. Has real human hair, mother of pearl beads & dangles, hand made beaded bracelets and bead dangles on her dress. the dress is made from sued fabric. The owl is made from resin.
The doll is brand new condition, with certificate /tag box, was displayed some years ago in glass door cabinet out of sunlight, been in it's box for last few years.
The owl is supposed to have 2 metal pegs coming from blow it, they insert into two holes in her arm, though one of the metal pegs snapped over time and now there's just the one. If your skilled enough, you could add another piece of strong metal rod type stuff in a narrow gauge to the bottom of the owl for the second hole, but I'll leave that up to you. It does still hold with one peg.
Ashton drake no longer make these beautiful stunning porcelain dolls any more or to this quality like they used to made to and this one is rare!! They were very expensive to buy at the time due to the high quality of fabrics they used and doll being made from solid porcelain!
