Vintage Videologic (PURE) DRX-601 E/ ES DAB tuner for hi fi stereo

Vintage DAB Tuner. When this tuner came out it was early on in the history of DAB Radio in the UK. At the time I think only Arcam had a DAB Hi Fi tuner available and that was very expensive (£800 which was a fortune 26 years ago). Then came this Videologic that was less than half the price of the Arcam (I think about £300) and opened up DAB hi fi tuners to the masses (poor people like me). I bought one back then (not the one I'm selling now, but identical) and connected to my roof top DAB aerial and it served me well for many years until I changed for a Sony QS model. Videologic went on to become PURE which is still a well regarded brand of DAB radios. These tuners need a very good signal, either a rooftop aerial or you might get away with indoor aerial in a very good signal area. It's not a fault, it's how they have always been, they were designed with roof top aerials in mind as at the time a lot of people had FM roof aerials. As it's a vintage model it won't have some of the more recent DAB features which is why the price is low. Sorry for the long essay description! Just getting nostalgic! Class 2 PAT Tested for safety.
