Warehouse Manager

Location: Merseyside

Industry: Healthcare Manufacturing (GMP/GDP Compliant)

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations at a busy healthcare manufacturing facility in Merseyside. Overseeing a team of 1 direct report and 6 indirect line reports. This is a key role ensuring the efficient, compliant, and safe handling of materials and products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage day–to–day warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished goods. Provide line management and development support to warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure full compliance with GMP/GDP regulations and internal quality standards. Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock control processes. Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to support manufacturing schedules and customer delivery timelines. Drive health and safety standards and ensure all warehouse activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner. Support audits and inspections, providing documentation and operational insights as required.

Requirements:

Proven experience in warehouse management within a GMP/GDP–compliant environment, ideally in FMCG, chemical, food or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Strong experience with MRP/ Stock control systems Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent understanding of inventory control systems and warehouse best practices. Ability to work cross–functionally and communicate effectively at all levels. High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
