Description
Thera Scotland has an exciting opportunity available for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Smithton, Highland. You will join us on a permanent basis, with Full Time and Part Time positions available, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP13.00 per hour.
Additional Information: Full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and wellbeing of the individual(s) we support. You will assist and encourage people with their evening routines and activities, while providing consistent physical and emotional support throughout the night. Your presence will help create a safe, secure, and calming environment , ensuring each person feels comfortable and enjoys a restful night.
As a support worker with Thera, you will be part of an inclusive team supporting adults with a learning disability. Using a person–centered approach, you will help create innovative ways to support an individual achieve their own personal goals.
The ways of supporting will change with everyone you work with because everyone has different ambitions.
Supporting people in their daily lives is varied and may also include helping someone develop new skills, help plan and manage their own home, support with leisure activities, interests, and travel.
Your support could be in their own home or out and about in their local community.
