Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Temporary Lab Operations Assistant to work for a company in Milton Park

Role: Temporary Lab Operations Assistant

Salary: 13.85 per hour

Location: Milton Park

Hours: 9am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Assistant:

Undertake routine work in all our sites including:AutoclavingGlassware cleaningWaste disposalGeneral tidy upProcessing goods in items ensuring appropriate steps are taken with regards COSHH, stock control and communication with the broader teamEnsure stock is always available for the team, as well as monitoring inventory alongside the team to ensure stocks are maintainedHave a proactive approach to health and safety, ensuring best practices are adhered to Support with coordinating the deep cleaning of equipment as well as the weekly cleaning schedule with lab usersSupport with troubleshooting facilities issues together with other members of the operations teamAbout you:

Academic Qualification: Mathematics GCSE grade C or aboveOrganisational Excellence: Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate inventory records and following laboratory protocolsIndependent & Collaborative Working: Ability to work self–sufficiently while effectively contributing to team objectivesCommunication Skills: Clear and effective communication for lab coordination and cross–functional collaborationPhysical Capabilities: Ability to lift/carry heavy items and maintain prolonged standing positions during laboratory workTechnical Proficiency: Competent with Microsoft Office applicationsTeam Orientation: Build relationships across multidisciplinary teamsAdaptability: Be able to adjust to the changing needs of others and pick up new tasks as neededNo candidate will meet every single desired qualification we have listed.
