Description
Work directly with adults and children in mental health settings, supporting rehabilitation, recovery, acute care, PICU, eating disorders and CAMHS. You'll work across multiple wards, providing hands–on care where it's most needed.
This is a flexible, shift–based role where you can pick from regular part–time to full–time shifts, including daily last–minute options that suit your schedule.
About the role
– Support adults and/or children as part of a multidisciplinary care team
– Deliver personal care and emotional support
– Maintain accurate care plans and documentation
– Report and escalate any safeguarding concerns appropriately
– Promote independence, dignity and choice in every interaction
What you'll need
– Minimum 6 month's experience in a UK care or support role
– MAPA training (or equivalent restraint training)
– Experience supporting people with mental health needs or learning disabilities
– Confidence delivering personal care
– Ability to provide 3 years of work references
– Ability to provide an overseas police check if you've lived in the UK for less than 5 years
– Flexibility to work across multiple wards and respond to short–notice and last–minute shift requests
