Support Worker

Description

A Support Worker is required on a part–time basis of 20 hours per week in Whitley Bay.

This role would ideally suit someone who has experience working with young adults with additional needs and physical disabilities.

As Support Worker, you will be supporting a young man who has Cerebral Palsy and Autism. He enjoys going out into the community to do meaningful activities and visiting places of interest in the local area.

What we re looking for in a Support Worker:

We are looking for someone who has confidence to work autonomously in the community and in the client s home and who has a positive outlook to support and encourage life skills, social interaction and activities of daily living.

Key requirements:

Car driver The post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check and reference checks Proof of training and experience working in care You will receive mandatory training and receive support from a Line Manager.
