We are looking for a Support Worker to join our friendly staff team in Jarrow, South Tyneside, supporting adults with learning disabilities with their daily lives. This offers a rewarding opportunity to start or advance your career in social care, within a well-established and friendly team.

Support Worker Duties:

Providing positive behaviour support to individuals with learning disabilities, and non-verbal communication requirements.Encouraging service users to engage in a range of exciting social activities both within and outside their homesDeveloping warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families enabling them to enjoy their time at the service to the fullestAdministrating and monitoring prescribed medication to service users. No previous care experience is needed. We value an engaging, creative, and person-centred approach above all.

The service is based within good distance of transport links.
