Support Worker - Birmingham

Hours: Shifts - AM 07:30 - 14:30 PM 14:30 - 21:30 NIGHTS 21:30 - 7:30 (Weekdays & Weekends)Location: BirminghamStart Date: ASAPYour new companyOngoing support workers are needed across the Birmingham Area to work in and across adult settings, providing ongoing support to the residents at the homes. The working hours are flexible to work around you and can include day and night shifts as well as weekdays and weekends.Your new roleYour main role as a support worker will be ensuring the safety and comfort of service users. You will predominantly be working with elderly service users, so as well as carrying out tasks to ensure the smooth running of the home, you should also encourage service users to have confidence and independence and encourage engagement in activities. The role will include personal care, and hygiene upkeep dependant on each service users' needs.You will be working with people from a variety of backgrounds, with varying levels of needs. With this, behaviour can be challenging, and you will need to be adaptable.
