Description
Key Responsibilities:
Complete statutory paediatric communication assessments for EHCNAs.
Provide timely, clear, and measurable EHCP advice.
Liaise with schools, families, BCIT and LA professionals.
Contribute to annual reviews where required.
Maintain accurate clinical notes and comply with safeguarding standards.
Requirements:
BSc/MSc in Speech and Language Therapy.
HCPC registration (essential).
Minimum 2 years' paediatric SLT experience.
Experience supporting children with SEND and contributing to EHCPs.
Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Professional indemnity & public liability insurance.
Desirable:
RCSLT membership.
Experience in early years, mainstream or specialist education settings.
Knowledge of autism, speech sound disorders, AAC or language disorder.
Experience delivering training to schools or families.
Additional Information:
Consultancy position with flexible working.
Travel to local schools/settings may be required.
All safeguarding and vetting checks must be completed prior to starting.
