Senior Social Worker – Family Support & Safeguarding Team

We are looking to recruit a Senior Social Worker in the Family Support & Safeguarding Team within Barking & Dagenham. The successful candidate will be working in a well–structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Senior Social Worker includes:

Undertaking initial investigationsUndertaking core investigationsOperating under the remit of the Children's Act, 1989Attending child protection meetingsManaging a high caseloadMaintaining accurate and up–to–date case filesSupporting junior members of the team

The ideal candidate will have:Social Work England registrationEligibility to work in the UKSocial Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
