I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Marina Operative to join a friendly and professional team based at Brighton Marina. This role offers a dynamic working environment where no two days are the same. If you already have experience in the marine sector—or you’re keen to grow your skills with full support and training—this position could be ideal.

This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing senior role, involving a wide range of operational duties across the marina. The position works on a rota that includes some weekends and bank holidays.

What We’re Looking For I’d like to hear from candidates who are:

Experienced and knowledgeable within the marine leisure industry

Strong communicators, confident and professional with a wide range of customers

Comfortable using computer systems, including EPOS and basic financial processing

Positive, enthusiastic, and able to take direction while also stepping up to lead the team as needed

Happy working both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in challenging weather conditions

Reliable, adaptable, and willing to learn new skills

Calm under pressure and able to lead by example, earning the trust of colleagues

Flexible to work weekends and bank holidays as part of the rotaMost importantly, I’m looking for someone who’s eager to grow and develop in a supportive team environment.
