Salary: Up to GBP39,250 per annum + Sleep–in Payments ( GBP6,240 annually)

The role:

As a Senior Support Worker in Barnstaple, you will lead shifts, develop and oversee care plans, mentor junior staff, and ensure the safety and well–being of young people. Your leadership will be essential in creating a positive, stable environment and guiding your team to provide exceptional support.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and organise daily shifts, maintaining high standards of care Implement and monitor individual care and support plans Mentor and support support staff, promoting team development Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people Liaise with professionals, families, and external agencies Manage behaviour effectively and promote positive behaviour strategies Support healthcare routines and handle administrative duties Participate in on–call and sleep–in duty rotations to ensure continuous support What we're looking for:
