This well-established residential care service provides high-quality care for older people, including those living with mental health challenges, and makes a strong contribution to local care provision.

The Role

We are recruiting an experienced and motivated Senior Care Assistant to join the day team. You will support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while providing leadership and guidance to care staff on shift.

This role is ideal for a compassionate and confident senior who is committed to maintaining high standards of care and supporting both residents and colleagues in a positive, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leading day shifts and supporting care staffDelivering personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility supportSupporting residents' physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeingAdministering medication in line with training and policiesMaintaining accurate care records and care plansLiaising with healthcare professionals and managementPromoting dignity, safeguarding, and person-centred care at all times Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant (or strong Care Assistant ready to step up)NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) - desirableMedication administration experienceStrong leadership and communication skillsA caring, professional, and reliable approachA genuine passion for supporting older people What's on Offer
