Working effectively as part of a team of child support workersHitting the ground runningProviding 24–hour care to vulnerable young peopleSupporting service users with early trauma and emotional behavioural difficultiesTaking service users out into the community and to school each dayEnsuring professional boundaries are in placeMaintaining a professional manner and working to National Care StandardsWorking to a flexible schedule, including night shifts, weekends and bank holidays, and the Christmas periodTo be successful in your child support worker application, you will:

Have previous 6 months prior experience in the UK working in a residential setting with young peopleHave flexibility in the roles undertakenHave strong communication skillsRegister under the PVG schemeFull driving licenseObtained, or working towards SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent desirable
