Children's Home Registered Manager

Preston (Solo EBD Home)

50,000 per annum starting salary plus Ofsted bonus

Are you passionate about making a real difference in young lives? Our client, a reputable organisation dedicated to supporting children and young people, is hiring for a dedicated Registered Manager to lead the setup of a brand–new home in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise and personal touch to a newly established environment that's ready to welcome its first residents.

What you'll be doing:

Leading the establishment of a new children's home, ensuring it meets all regulatory standards and is a safe, nurturing environment.Managing the referral process and having autonomy over admissions to ensure the right young people are supported.Overseeing day–to–day operations, staff management, and maintaining high standards of care.Building strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies to support positive outcomes.Contributing to the ongoing development of the home, adding your own stamp to create a warm, welcoming space.

What you'll bring:

A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a focus on their well being and development.Experience in managing children's homes, particularly EBD (Emotionally and Behaviourally Difficult) settings.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions.Excellent communication and relationship–building abilities.A proactive, compassionate approach, driven by the right reasons to support vulnerable young people
