Registered Manager – Children's Residential (EBD)

Location: Leicester

Salary: 51,500 – 60,000 + 7,500 Welcome Bonus

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Home Type: 3–bed Children's Residential (EBD)

Service Users: Young people aged 8–17

About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 3–bed children's residential home supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

You will take full responsibility for the day–to–day management of the home, ensuring high–quality care, safeguarding, and compliance with Children's Homes Regulations (2015) and Ofsted standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a stable service and drive positive outcomes for young people.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the residential home in line with regulatory and organisational standardsEnsure safeguarding and welfare of all young people is prioritised at all timesMaintain full Ofsted compliance, including inspections, audits, Reg 44 & Reg 45 reportingDevelop, support and supervise a high–performing staff teamManage staff performance, appraisals, training and developmentOversee care planning, risk assessments and behavioural support strategiesManage budgets, resources and occupancy levels effectivelyBuild strong relationships with local authorities, schools and external professionalsPromote a nurturing, therapeutic and homely environment for young peopleAct as the lead for safeguarding concerns, complaints and quality assuranceWhat We're Looking For

Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce (or equivalent)QCF Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willing to work towards)Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in children's residential careStrong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Quality StandardsProven leadership and team management experienceAbility to drive performance, compliance and positive outcomesWhat's on Offer
