Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a caring and motivated Reablement Assistant to join a specialist day centre and intermediate care service in Bournemouth.

This welcoming service provides short–term rehabilitation, reablement and personalised support to individuals who require assistance to regain confidence, improve independence and achieve their personal goals. Working within a supportive day centre environment, you will help clients maintain their daily living skills, promote wellbeing and support their journey towards greater independence.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a rewarding career in health and social care, as no previous experience is required. Full training and support will be provided to help you develop the skills needed to deliver high–quality, person–centred support.

As a Reablement Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting individuals with their daily routines, mobility, personal care and rehabilitation goals. You will encourage independence, promote dignity and work alongside an experienced team to help clients achieve positive outcomes.

Providing compassionate, person–centred support within the day centreSupporting clients with personal care needs, including washing, dressing and toiletingAssisting with mobility, transfers and daily activities following trainingEncouraging clients to build confidence and independenceSupporting individuals to achieve their personal rehabilitation and reablement goalsAssisting with practical everyday tasks such as preparing drinks, light meals and activitiesSupporting clients with medication following full training and competency assessmentMaintaining accurate care records and documentationReporting any changes in a client's health, wellbeing or progressPromoting dignity, privacy, choice and independence at all timesWorking positively as part of a supportive care team What we're looking for:
