R&D Technician required on a permanent basis, based in Greater Manchester. Requiring proven industrial experience of developing polymer based products, specifically thermoplastics.

Title: R&D Technician

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: 28,000 – 40,000 (dependent on experience)

Term: Permanent

SRG are working with a well–established manufacturer of speciality chemical products for the polymer industry who have been consistently growing for a number of years. They are now seeking to hire an R&D Technician at their site based in Greater Manchester. This role will be a laboratory based and hands–on role that will include developing both new and existing polymer–based products. A range of experience will be considered and so will prove an excellent opportunity for candidates with proven industrial experience of developing polymer based products, specifically thermoplastics.

Role / Description

Supporting in the development of both of new and existing products.Potentially liaising directly with customers & clients to provide technical support.Conduct application & stability testing of new and existing products using a range of techniques.Remain up to date with current developments in the market.General maintenance of laboratory areas and equipment.

Requirements
