Job Title: Psychotherapist

Location: Hemlock Stone School - Nottinghamshire NG9 8GA

Salary: Up to GBP53,000 FTE DOE

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Part-Time considered)

Contract: Permanent - Term Time only (There may be scope for this to be a full-time contract (52 weeks), if this is your preference please get in touch

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Psychotherapist to join an established school with a friendly team, multi-disciplinary in-house therapy team and connected to a nationwide network of specialist therapists and leadership.

In this exciting role, you will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment, and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs.

You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our pupils in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable and healthy. Undertaking all aspects of Psychotherapy clinical duties, you will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports. A significant element of this role will be working alongside the onsite clinical team to continue to develop the clinical service provision, including providing support and training to staff and parents.

All our settings maintain a strong safeguarding culture, and our pupils are heard, respected and involved in decisions that affect them wherever possible.

Essential Criteria:

degree qualification in specific discipline, ideally with significant experience working with children and young people and working in an education setting,Registered member of one or more of the following bodies: HCPC, BACP, BABCP, PTUK, NCPC, UKCPClear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activitiesExperience of working with people with neurodivergence and/or complex needs (e.g., complex trauma, neurodevelopmental differences, mental health needs)Ability to work independently as agreed under supervisionExperience of multi-professional work teams or services within designated specialityEvidence of continuing professional development relevant to the settingWhat's in it for you?
