A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Practice Nurse to join a friendly, supportive, and forward–thinking GP practice in Andover, Hampshire. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about high–quality patient care, enjoys working collaboratively, and wants to make a meaningful impact within the local community.

You will be part of a close–knit, welcoming clinical team providing care to over 11,000 patients. Ongoing support is built into the role, including bi–weekly meetings with the Clinical Lead, ensuring you feel supported, valued, and continuously developed.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high–quality, patient–centred nursing careUndertake treatment room duties including:Chronic disease management (particularly Asthma and COPD)Immunisations and vaccinationsHealth screening and health promotionSupport and contribute to the audit and development of clinical standardsMaintain a safe, therapeutic, and patient–focused environmentAssist in the development and delivery of health promotion programmes and screening clinicsEnsure the safe storage and administration of medicines and clinical equipmentProvide advice and clinical support to patients face–to–face and via telephoneActively participate in team meetings to promote best practice About You

Registered General Nurse with current UK NMC registrationPrevious primary care / general practice experienceEvidence of continuing professional development (CPD)Strong clinical decision–making and critical thinking skillsAdaptable, proactive, and confident working in a changing healthcare environmentGood understanding of local and national healthcare policiesConfident using IT systems (EMIS Web experience desirable)Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Essential Requirements

Current UK NMC registrationPrimary care experienceEvidence of ongoing CPD
