Salary: GBP14 per hr
Contract: Temp to Perm–35hrs a week
About the Role
Tezlom is recruiting a reliable and compassionate PCV Driver with a Category D1 licence (no code 101 restriction) to support transport services for a day care centre for adults with learning disabilities.
You will play a vital role in safely transporting service users to and from the centre, ensuring a positive, respectful, and supportive experience throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport service users to and from the day care centre Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking where required Ensure the safety and wellbeing of passengers during journeys Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects Maintain a clean and safe vehicle at all times Provide a friendly, respectful, and supportive service to vulnerable adults Follow safeguarding and transport policies and procedures Requirements
Valid PCV Category D1 licence (no 101 restriction) Previous experience driving PCV vehicles preferred Experience working with vulnerable adults or in care settings (desirable) Calm, patient, and reliable attitude Strong awareness of safeguarding responsibilities Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer
