Job Title: Pastoral Assistant

Location: Norton College, Tewkesbury, GL20 8UQ

Salary: £22,160.62 per annum (not pro rata)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday | 8.30am–4.00pm

Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

Start: January 2026

Norton College Tewkesbury is looking for an energetic, compassionate and committed Pastoral Support Assistant to join our outstanding team. This is your opportunity to play a vital role in supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, as well as pupils with autism, helping them grow, flourish and succeed.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking someone who is:

Experience of working in a similar role

Warm, patient and resilient

Passionate about supporting vulnerable young people

A confident communicator and proactive problem-solver

A team player with a positive, can-do attitude

Ready to step up, take initiative and make every day count

A Full UK Driving Licence

Experience with SEMH or autism is helpful—but heart, dedication and willingness to learn are just as important.
