Role Overview – Optical Glazing Technician

Carry out accurate, high–quality ophthalmic lens glazing and productionWork with the Lab Manager to support efficient workflows and consistently high standardsContribute ideas and support continuous improvement across the labOperate glazing machinery, with full training provided on MEI equipmentSupport colleagues and help maintain a positive, team–focused working environmentMonday to Friday, 9am–5pmSalary 28,000 – 32,000 depending on experienceJoin an employee owned company where staff have a genuine voice and share in the success of the businessCandidate Requirements

Solid experience in optical glazing, lens manufacturing, or optical lab operationsComfortable working in a fast–paced, high–volume production environmentSMC (Tech) qualification desirable but not essentialStrong attention to detail with a quality–first mindsetConfident decision–maker with good organisation and prioritisation skillsExperience supporting or guiding others in the lab is beneficialWhy Join?
