Adults Occupational Therapy Team Leader Location: LeicesterGBP45 per hour Full-Time (37 hours per week) Hybrid Working

An Adult Social Care service in Leicester is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Team Leader to provide professional and operational leadership within an Adults Occupational Therapy service.

The role offers hybrid working, with 2-3 days per week office-based, depending on service requirements.

About the Role The postholder will lead and manage an Adults Occupational Therapy team, delivering statutory assessments and interventions in line with the Care Act 2014. The focus of the role is to support adults to maintain independence, safety, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, supervision, and professional support to Occupational Therapists

Oversee complex and high-risk cases, including adaptations, equipment, and moving and handling

Ensure statutory duties under the Care Act are met effectively

Manage case allocation, quality assurance, and performance standards

Work collaboratively with health, housing, and partner agencies

Contribute to service development and continuous improvement

Essential Requirements HCPC registered Occupational Therapist

Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy

Significant post-qualification experience within Adult Social Care

Experience in a senior, lead, or supervisory Occupational Therapy role

Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and safeguarding practice

Car driver with access to a vehicle

Ability to work on-site as required within a hybrid working model
