About the role

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join a specialist education setting in Wheatley, Oxfordshire, covering a maternity leave from October 2026 to October 2027.

You will work with children and young people with SEND and complex needs, providing assessment, therapeutic support and practical strategies to help them engage and thrive in their educational environment.

You will also provide guidance to the wider education team, helping them understand and respond to the individual needs of the young people they support.

About you

You will need:

HCPC registration as an Occupational TherapistExperience working with children and young peopleExperience supporting individuals with additional or complex needsGood communication and organisational skillsA practical and child–centred approachA genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young peopleThis is a strong opportunity for an Occupational Therapist looking for a full–time, term–time role within a specialist education environment.
